CURRICULUM

ONTARIO COLLEGE OF REFLEXOLOGY CERTIFICATION COURSE:

N-101 Foot Reflexology Certificate Course Level 1 is taught by Annie Gelfand, MBA, CPCC, PCC, a qualified instructor from the Ontario College of Reflexology. The course focuses on the basic understanding of anatomy and physiology as it applies to Foot Reflexology and practical methodology.


COURSE CURRICULUM:
      Chapter 1 - History & Theory of Reflexology
      Chapter 2 - Zones of the body
      Chapter 3 - Foot Examination
      Chapter 4 - Reflexology Techniques Reflexology
      Chapter 5 - Health and Session Records
      Chapters 6 to 15 - Anatomy & Physiology of Body systems
      Chapter 16 - Reflexology Foot Procedure
      Chapter 17 - Business and Financial
      Chapter 18 - Exam Preparation


COURSE REQUIREMENTS:
1 year course completion, approx. 200 hours
35-hrs in-class instruction.
Approx. 35-hrs independent study with the aid of chapter summaries and chapter tests.
Approx. 130 hrs practicum required: Reflexology Health and Session Records Portfolio (min. 70 session records)
Written and practical final examinations


WHAT YOU WILL GET UPON COMPLETION:
Eligibility for membership in the Reflexology Registration Council of Ontario (RRCO) for use of legal designation RRPr* (Registered Reflexology Practitioner).
Certificate from the Ontario College of Reflexology.
100 credits which is a prerequisite for entry into the Level II Continuing Education courses by the College.


LICENSE, EDUCATION TAX CREDITS, ASSOCIATION & INSURANCE:

The Ontario College of Reflexology is recognized by the Reflexology Registration Council of Ontario . Upon successful completion of the course requriements, you will be eligible for membership in the Reflexology Registration Council of Ontario (RRCO). The RRCO membership entitles you to discounted rates for general and malpractice liability insurance, in addition to several other membership benefits. The RRCO is currently recognized by Municipal Licensing Boards of Toronto, Clarington, Markham, Richmond Hill and Windsor.

Revenue Canada recognizes tuition fees and education tax credits for certificates from the Ontario College of Reflexology.
